A couple of years ago, I wrote everyday for a year. While it wasn’t Pulitzer Prize winning writing, it helped me a lot. My half year birthday is coming up August 8. I thought that this time, I would try my hand at writing a poem a day.
There are many different kinds of poetry. With sonnets, limericks, odes, lyric, narrative, elegy, haiku, free verse, and villanelle, surely I will be able to come up with something.
